ALHS Designation

Attend an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS) Course and complete the first step to earning your ALHS Designation.

When you earn your ALHS Designation, you receive numerous benefits that can help you to build your business and define your brand in the marketplace.


ALHS Designation Benefits:

  • Downloadable ALHS Logos and wearable ALHS Pin.

  • A subscription to The Luxury Home Expert a monthly online magazine.
  • Access to discounts on products and services from preferred vendors.
  • Access to the ALHS database for networking and referral opportunities.
  • Access to the RealtyU Alumni Association.

ALHS Designation Requirements:

  • Complete the comprehensive two day course.
  • Complete two sales with a luxury home buyer or seller where the purchase price is at least two times the average sales price in the market. The transactions must take place within 24 months of taking the course or anytime prior to taking the course.
  • Be a member in good standing with the NARŪ and the Luxury Home Council, dues in the Luxury Home Council are $99 per year but are free for the first year!

    • Section 2: Understanding Wealth, Status, and Affluence
    • Section 3: Specialization and Building a Niche
    • Section 4: Finding Luxury Home Clients
    • Section 5: Presenting Your Services to Luxury Home Buyers
    • Section 6: Showing Homes to Luxury Buyers
    • Section 7: The Luxury Home Selection Process
  • Day Two:
    • Section 8: Presenting Your Services to Luxury Home Sellers
    • Section 9: Promoting a Luxury Listing
    • Section 10: Special Needs of the Luxury Home Seller
    • Section 11: Personal Marketing within the Affluent Market
    • Section 12: Negotiating as a Luxury Home Specialist
    • Section 13: Building Your Action Plan
